Battle of the Bands on Ice

Time: 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Location: Maple Grove Community Center, Ice Arena
Details: The Battle of the Bands contest is open to the public. Bands will be performing in the Maple Grove Ice Arena. Participants will have the option to skate while the bands are playing or sit in the bleachers. Skate rentals are available in the arena office.
Teen Bands are NEEDED! Sign up today. Any band with members 18 and under can participate! The top band will receive a recording session valued at $2,000 from the Institute of Production and Recording at Master Mix Studios in Minneapolis. The top 2 bands will be invited to participate in Music Mayhem at the Minnesota State Fair. Space is limited so register early, only six bands will perform.
Who: Teen Bands ages 12 - 18
Fees: $30 per band
Register: Bands will be chosen on a first-come basis. Contact Tanya Hilger at 763-494-6512 and ask for a Battle of the Bands registration form. You will be required to submit a recording of your band’s music and the lyrics.
