Battle of the Bands

Location: Maple Grove Community Center, Ice Arena
Details: The Battle of the Bands contest is open to the public. Battle of the Bands will be performing on the new outdoor performance stage at the Maple Grove Town Green on Friday, July 9, with winners performing again on Saturday, July 17.
Teen Bands are NEEDED! Sign up today. Any band with members 18 and under can participate! The top band will receive a recording session valued at $1,000 from the Institute of Production and Recording at Master Mix Studios in Minneapolis. The top 2 bands will be invited to participate in Music Mayhem at the Minnesota State Fair. Space is limited so register early, only six bands will perform.
Who: Teen Bands ages 12 - 18
Fees: $30 per band
Register: Bands will be chosen on a first-come basis. Contact Tanya Hilger at 763-494-6512 and ask for a Battle of the Bands registration form. You will be required to submit a recording of your band’s music and the lyrics.
