Pierre Bottineau Parade
Everyone enjoys a parade! There's lots of fun for everyone: clowns, marching bands, unicycles, scouts, royalty and more.
Over 100 units marching along in the Pierre Bottineau Parade.
You're sure to see someone you know and go home with lots of goodies.

Site: 89th Ave. N. between Zachary Lane and Elm Creek Blvd.
Date/Time: Thursday, July 10, 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Political units will kick-off the parade begining at 6:00 pm.

Seniors Duplicate Bridge Tournament
Join us for this non-sanctioned, one session duplicate bridge tournament.
All entry fees go to prize awards. Must register in teams.

Maple Grove Days will be visited by former Twins Jack Morris.

City Bus Tours
City staff will host each tour and describe new residential and commercial development areas in town.
Each tour is limited to 45 people and will last about 1-1 1/2 hours.
There will be one bus at 10:00 AM and two buses at noon.

Site: Pick up will be at the Maple Grove Transit Station, 12350 Main Street N.
Registration: Each rider must have a ticket. Tickets are available at the Maple Grove Transit Station, beginning at 9:30am.
There are 45 tickets available for each bus.

Maple Grove Days Art Fair
Art Lovers of all ages Are invited to shop a variety of art mediums for sale: painting, sculpture ceramics and much more.

Intro to Geocaching
What is Geocaching? It is an exciting, high-tech game in which players use a GPS unit to find a treasure box – called a cache – hidden by other players.
Participants will learn the basics of Geocaching and then go searching for several caches.
GPS units will be provided. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather.

Science Fair
Great River Energy is opening their doors to kids of all ages to learn about energy and other Science Fair activities.
Tours available on a first come basis.
Observe the energy-saving products and techniques used inside and outside the building to translate those into ideas you can implement at home to get you started on energy conservation.

Pool Tournament
Challenge another in this singles 8 ball tournament. Fees include table time.

Showcase Silent Auction

Bid on items ranging from sports memorabilia, Twins tickets, gift certificates and much more. The auction “Showcases” the products and services generously donated by dozens of Maple Grove area businesses.
Maple Grove residents are encouraged to patronize these businesses.
Auction items are listed in order of value.
Items will be available to bid on Saturday, July 12th at the Maple Grove Community Center, 12951 Weaver Lake Road.
Bidding sheets will be available next to the ticket booth at the front entry of the CC.
Opening bids will begin at 11:00 am and close at 7:00 pm.

Winning bidders will be notified and contacted about collecting their items.

SkatePark

Skateboarders and in-line skaters of all ages are welcome.
Helmets are required and parental permission/waiver forms need to be completed prior to skating for the first time.
A limited amount of safety equipment is available for use at the park

3rd Lair’s 2nd Annual Summer Series Skateboard Contest

Points will be given to each competitor based on their final standing at each contest.
Winners of each division at each contest will receive a “Golden Ticket” to the MIDWEST MELEE – held at 3rd Lair at the end of the summer.
The Midwest Melee will be the finale of the contest series and there will be 3 overall point winners crowned – beginner, intermediate and expert.
